Providing easy access to information resources for the first-degree relatives of KHAS members is important to us. Therefore, a special service is available to enable them to benefit from The Library’s resources and borrowing services.
The following guidelines have been established to ensure that this service is used effectively and fairly.
Who Can Benefit?
- KHAS Members: Academic staff, administrative staff, and students of Kadir Has University.
- First-Degree Relatives: Spouses, children, and parents of KHAS members.
Available Services
- Use of Library Resources: Access and use books, journals, newspapers, electronic databases, and other Library resources.
- Borrowing Printed Materials: Borrow books, journals, DVDs, and other printed resources.
- Access to Electronic Resources: Access electronic resources by appointment.
How to Become a Member?
- Applicants must apply for a “Library User Card for Family Members of KHAS Members”.
- During the application process, a document proving the relationship to the KHAS member (such as a population registration document or marriage certificate) must be presented.
Borrowing Rules
- Books, journals, and DVDs may be borrowed for 30 days. The loan period may be renewed once if needed.
- Borrowed materials must be returned on time. Delayed returns are subject to applicable regulations.
- Users are responsible for lost or damaged materials and any associated costs.
Library Usage Guidelines
- Please maintain a quiet study environment and respect other users.
- Food and beverages may only be consumed in designated areas.
- Mobile phones should be used in silent mode.
- Library resources should be handled with care.
